Central bank: Russia’s narrow monetary base falls 1.5% Dec 30–Jan 14
MOSCOW, Jan 21 (PRIME) -- Russia’s narrow monetary base decreased by 1.5% to 14.389 trillion rubles from December 30 through January 14, the central bank said in a statement on Friday.
The narrow monetary base includes cash in circulation and commercial banks’ deposits with the central bank, and excludes central bank bonds held by banks and the central bank’s repurchase agreements.
